Did you know that if you do not support Hillary you are a misogynist? And, I suppose, if you do not support Obama, you are a racist. Say wha?

Check out Marie Cocco’s grotesque piece in today’s Washington Post where she notes that as the campaign ends ” I will not miss the deafening, depressing silence of Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean or other leading Democrats, who to my knowledge (with the exception of Sen. Barbara Mikulski of Maryland) haven’t publicly uttered a word of outrage at the unrelenting, sex-based hate that has been hurled at a former first lady and two-term senator from New York. Among those holding their tongues are hundreds of Democrats for whom Clinton has campaigned and raised millions of dollars. Don Imus endured more public ire from the political class when he insulted the Rutgers University women’s basketball team.”

By the same perversion of logic, if one criticizes Israel’s policies, one becomes anti-semitic. Question illegal immigrants and one is darkly against Hispanics. And so on and on and on down a path that takes us further and further away from the distinctions and nuances and personal responsibility that mark a mature society.

Such logic surely does HRC no favor yet it goes a long way to explaining how we got George W. Bush in the White House.

This is the state of journalism in America today. Real reporters are non-existant..they are lazy loafers that hang around the wire services hoping to find a grain of something they find interesting ‘to them’ to write about!
Actual news reporting is in its dust bowl days of depression and the op-ed is the honey pot that Winnie th’ poo scribes live for.
And, we wonder why paper based news is dying from loss of revenue and circulation? The readers are lazy also…they would rather sit in front of the tube and finger the remote rather than actually get up and go fetch the newspaper and read yesterdays news that they do not agree with!
Politics has not advanced from the pit of personal destruction attacks which keep the people polarized and the opposing camps at war with one another.
Just another opinion..and there are way too many of those floating about.
