. . . Hillary’s petulance and whining? She decries being dissed as a woman and then pulls the oldest female trick in the book: accusing people who do not want her president as misogynistic. (BTW the author of this blog is a woman.)
. . . .Hill’s claim that people are trying to force her out of the race. Duh? ‘Spose she will still be running in Aprol 2009?
. . . John McCain jettisoned the Rev.Hagee. Should have rejected it at the get-go considering the old chap’s disgusting views of gays and other real folks.
. . .Lou Dobbs is moving from concerned and effective to shrill and mean. What goes with the guy?
. . .Billary may be pushing to get HRC on the Obama ticket as a way to honor her! Egads. Hold your breath till you both turn blue.
. . .Ellen deGeneris wants McCain to walk her down the aisle. Too rich by far.
. . .Vanity Fair thinks Miley Cyrus is worth pictures and pages? Too weird.
. . .the courts finally reminded Texas that this is not a country where a state can burst into a house and take the children, redistribute them around the state, and THEN meditate on the reasons. I surely dislike plural marriage homes and find the notion of celestial marriage a laughable way for some horney guy to institutionalize sexual variety, but Texas was wrong.

I have to give you eight (Count ‘em….8!) hoorays for today’s blog. One for each paragraph.
I’m going oveer to the county voter registration office today to change my prty ‘affiliation’ from Green to Democratic. It not that I want to be a Democrat so much (or for that matter, Green). I ust don’t want to see HRC have any kind of public job. I’m tired of professional politicians of any ilk, but HRC in particular.

Thanks, RW. Hard not to wonder if somewhere HRC is not seeking an assassination, eh? Gotta say though that if it is she and McCain, I will hold my nose and vote for her. Wotta nauseating thought.

HRC’s agenda is a mystery. She has not a chance for the dem nomination, but yet she is hanging on..why? She wants something from BO. Is it the veep job..or a cabinet postion? She is a pure political animal from a family of this viscious species and needs to be watched closely.
She mentioned that one never knows what can happen in a political race…her example was the RFK assassination! Wow!

Why does she have to quit? When I hear people chanting that mantra, I get the same burning feeling produced by the chastisements from people who tell me I “wasted” my vote when I don’t vote for one of the two big dogs. Let her hang in for as long as she wants to.

Hi, me. I may be wrong but I think she should have quit some time ago before she said so many anti-Obama things that will come back to haunt the
Dems in the upcoming general election. Additionally, she has managed to split the party so badly that her blue-collar troops at least say they will vote for McCain if HRC is not nominated. For me, the worst option of all is to get the Republicans in for another 4 years, esp. this Bush toady. So it seems to me HRC is motivated way more by personal vanity than by concern for the country.

Now I’m wondering why there are political comments being made in churches. Isn’t keeping politics out of the pulpit one of the requirements for the continuing tax exempt status of a church? Is it time for churches to pay taxes?

Glad to see you back, Me. Your point is well taken. I have long wondered why churches are permitted, indeed encouraged, to pursue their own ends while sponging off the rest of us who may not share these ends.

I gress the money flows (taxes that is) to active organizations such as Planned Parenthood (definition=abortion on demand) and PETA (that euthanizes 95% of all animals that come to their ‘care’..!).. so they may “pursue their own ends”. Yeah, churches get a tax break, but your tax money and mine does NOT(except for my tighes) do support organized religion.
Now..we have Obama and Michelle…which is shaping up to be Bill and Hillary II!
I love your Marxist terminology in regarding churches being allowed to pursure their own ends, Puffin. What a dark reference. Have another wine spritz.

Richard’s move from Green to dem pretty well showcases the uncertainty that underlies our political world today. This country is polarized to the gills and is split right down the lines of Liberal, Conservative..left and right. The real America lies somewhere in the middle but those on the party of the left that try to venture more centrist pay the ultimate price..ie: HRC and her roomate WJC..who are now dem outcasts due to the fact that they are not left enough.
BO is now the saviour of left of the left libs.

Argumentum ad hominem. Not very useful.

I cannot seem to display the facts of the matter politic here without the admin accusing me of calling names and venturing into ad hominem territory. Okay..so be it.
The sky is blue and the all is well in this country, eh? I wish it so, but I will refrain from from illogic debate.
