I’m sure all HRC and BO supporters will be watching Monday’s Senate meditations on the FISA revision bill which has been passed by a docile House. I am puzzled and startled by Obama’s support of the bill even though he also indicates he will “work” to remove retroactive immunity for the telecoms.

Personally, I would prefer the FISA bill be tabled until after the 2008 election. At any rate, I am bewildered why anyone would support the bill as presented and thereby at least appear to endorse the Bush administration’s penchant for spying and calling it protecting the Constitution.

Don’t let us down, Senator Obama, Senator Clinton. Russ Feingold is worth following on this. Or, even better, lead on this key issue.
