I am not swift on economics.

But I wonder why the investors in the private two Freddies made lotsa money not so long ago

but

taxpayers are bailing out the businesses in these bad times!

I wonder the same thing about Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and whatever other privates-saved-by-public are coming at us down the road.

Sounds like a bit of socialism coming from our stalwart capitalist government, eh?
