I’m not sure about the merits of dealing with the marketplace of ideas in terms of “losing” and “winning.”

McCain did fine if one managed not to remember how long he has been in DC, the number of catapults he has made ideologically, and his general eraticism. I did get way weary of his mocking Obama for being naive and found myself wishing that Barack would call McCain an “old fart” at least once and point out how little good experience has done us these pasgt eight years.

Well, I hate to say it, but I think Obama lost this one. I thought it was pretty close til the last five minutes or so.

Obama got frustrated and had a difficult time staying focused and on topic.
