Hot from hearing Palin’s response to a question from a 3rd grader on a CNN interview and learning that the duties of the veep include involvement in Congressional policy decisions, I open today’s Washington Post to learn that she thinks of herself as an intellectual:

In an interview with the intellectual’s bible, People Magazine, Palin notes:

“And you have to be up on not only current events, but you have to understand the foundation of the issues that you’re working on,” Palin said in an interview with People magazine. “You can’t just go on what is presented you.”

Whew. And we have learned that she is a well-dressed Republican to the tune of about $140,000 from the party coffers—no cloth coats here. And we know that last month, an Academy Award make-up artist earned over $13,000 making the well-dressed, intellectual Palin look hot.

Gee, for $150,000 I too might be gotten up to look like a VP, you know, one of those people who run Congress and help the two houses make policy.
