Prescription for success: mob rule

I continue to be astounded and revolted at the lengths to which this country’s ultra-conservatives and health industry minions will go to keep us from any substantive debate on health care. It is bad enough for them to spend millions—supplied no doubt by the industry—on television ads misleading viewers about the scope of the proposed legislation. But to send troops of hysterical housedresses and fat paunches into meetings with the sole purpose of disrupting conversation and dialogue is reprehensible.

I’m not sure how the populace is weighing in on these tactics, but for this voter it has removed finally any glimmer of respect I ever had for the Republicans and those Democrats who cave to special interests and tell their constituents to go to hell.
